| 1. | I met amazing people, I learned a great deal, I relaxed and had fun and realized just how much I need to travel.

| 4. | I was so scared to go to Europe, and then realized there was nothing to be afraid of. We had so much fun, all by ourselves, we weren't on a "tour", it was so DIY, and we drank a LOT! It was insane. We covered 4 countries in 6 days. |
| 5. | Good friends, pleasant evenings, fun and games, gorgeous food, interesting conversations... What more could you ask for? |

| 17. | I think it was just such a chilled holiday. THere was nothing going on with me and him, we were just hte only 2 who could get time off and i had a free holiday. It was just so relaxed, no pressure, no bitching or fighting or anything. Just alcohol, and him whipping my arse at pool all over the island. It was cold too, in january... |

| 19. | I was happy. Even when we were bickering I was happy. We walked everywhere; we cuddled in bed; we went out at night; we enjoyed the scenery. We were together. |

| 25. | Unbelievable natural beauty, exhilarating adventure (rapids), peace, quiet, contentment, swimming in crystal-clear streams, excellent food.

| 27. | Lots of late-night wandering (they have a NIGHTLIFE down there! News to this small-town Michigander) and getting drunk off of an entire bottle of cheap wine because my fiance didn't like it. |
| 28. | I'm not a gambler, but it is just such a completely sureal place- whether it is four a.m. or seven p.m. there is always something to see and do and it all feels very glamourous. |

| 30. | boy. france. all the things those entail. going north to normandy was cool. eating well in paris was cool. museums, walking, good food. most every day was a good day, with the only real problem being near-exhaustion from walking all the damn time. |
