Cottonham Posted On: Jan 2, 2008 Views: 736 | Keep Up The Good Work Today I did a google search for an interesting Black entertainment site and yours was the first(and only) site I viewed. I would love to be the first to comment on such a lovely sight. The work is so well written and well-done. I really enjoy your site and will be back time and time again. Please, keep up the good work! |
| Posted By: Clarence Dember Posted On: Nov 7, 2007 Views: 758 | Stanley Crouch compares apples to oranges I don't think Mr. Crouch's arguement that "What a Crime Denzel Washington and Friends pretty up a drug thug" is a valid analogy. Here is an arguably non- Hollywood personality Mr. Crouch belitteling the efforts of some of the most talented people on the planet as they avoid being sued for defermation of character in the time compression medium of Feature film. Mr Crouch compares this effort by Universal Films to a program made for edited and approved by Black Entertainment Telivision. Different constituencies not withstanding is he saying that to educate his constituency or to chastize Denzel and Russel's. Can Mr. Crouch hold a candel to Ridley Scott's work? It makes no sence unless you can believe all entertainment should live or die by the hand of Stanley Crouch! Clarence Dember Copiague N.Y. |
