| Posted By: Not known Posted On: Jul 12, 2010 Views: 247 | Christianity Are we so superficial; to think a good dresser, who is a nice size and has a portfolio and lastly is a Christian is considered a good catch. Note: If a person values these qualities over being saved then guess what? They are more than likely NOT a good catch. Think about it. Maybe they are but is that person saved? Value systems account for more than money, dressing nice and attactiveness. When the chips are down and the money is low, when the hardships of this life come upon you, what will you do? Look at your chosen one and say all is down but man YOU LOOK GOOD! |
| Posted By: Robin Posted On: Oct 20, 2006 Views: 670 | Does Looks Really Matter? I think it is important that the person you plan on dating or marrying is attractive to YOU. Men and women have ended excellent relationships because their friends didn't think the person they were interested in or dating was attractive. Your friends are not in your relationship. Being a bonafide believer comes first, good financial shape second, and looks third. Over the years, I have heard people make incredulous statements regarding looks, such as: "My husband was ugly, but he treated me right. I knew since he was ugly, he would be good to me. In the past, I always dated pretty boys and ended up being used. That's why I married a man who is ugly. He won't do me wrong and treat me well." What kind of crazy thinking is that??!! What an insulting thing to say! I believe an extremely attractive person can start to look very ugly if they have ugly ways and a bad attitude. Likewise, a person who is less attractive looks more and more attractive if they are warmhearted and display the fruit of the spirit in their lives |
